CITC of Washington Wet Utility Design
Dubin Environmental partnered with HL Engineering to prepare civil design plans for a new educational complex for the Construction Industry Training Council in Renton, Washington. Dubin Environmental led the public and private wet utility design, which included a new 12-inch watermain, two new water services, new 12-inch storm mains, numerous catch basins, and three sewer laterals in the public right-of-way. The private utilities included onsite drainage and a new 800 square foot bioretention facility that was designed to meet city peak flow control and enhanced water quality treatment standards. The work was carefully coordinated with the project architect and landscape architect with an emphasis on safety and aesthetics for the future CITC students and faculty.
